The film stars Mohanlal in lead role as chef Nandagopal who has an alter ego, the "Lokpal", a vigilante fighting against corruption. Nandagopal, a chef, becomes the saviour of people in distress and fights against corruption. He has an unnerving past that explains his current state of mind.Meera Nandan, Manoj K. Jayan, Thambi Ramaiah, and Saikumar play supporting roles. The soundtrack was composed by Ratheesh Vegha, with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed.
