Koondukkili (English: The Caged Parrot), also spelled as Goondukili,[1] is a 1954 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed and co-produced by T. R. Ramanna. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan and B. S. Saroja in the lead roles.Thangaraj (MGR) and Jeeva (Sivaji Ganesan) are friends.Thangaraj (MGR) is married to Mangala (B. S. Saroja) and they have a son.
