Khubsoorat is a 1980 Indian Hindi film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, whose direction together with dialogues by Gulzar.The lady of the house runs the place with utmost strictness. But, hilarity and chaos ensue when her daughter-in-law's younger sister pays a visit and tries to change the rules in the house.Middle aged Nirmala Gupta (Dina Pathak), wife of Dwarka Prasad Gupta (Ashok Kumar) and mother of four, was a disciplinarian and runs her household on rules. Everyone, including her husband follow her rules though they don't always approve her ways. She even selects wives for her sons herself and now selects Anju for her second son.
