Kannedhirey Thondrinal (English: She came before my eyes) is a 1998 Tamil film directed by Ravichandran. The film stars Prashanth and Simran in the lead roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Deva.[1] Owing to its success, the film was remade in Telugu as Manasulo Maata (1998), in Kannada as Snehaloka (1999), in Malayalam as Dhosth (2001) in Bengali as Sangee (2002), and also in Bangladesh as Tumi Koto Sundar (2006)Vasanth (Prashanth), a rich guy meets a girl (Simran) in Coimbatore railway station while travelling to Chennai to join engineering and it is love at first sight for Vasanth. Shankar (Karan) also studies in same college where Vasanth joins and initially both Vasanth and Shankar develop clashes. Priya (Simran) is the sister of Shankar and without knowing that Vasanth meets Priya on a few more situations in Chennai and conveys his love towards her but Priya does not reciprocate and keeps distance with Vasanth.
