Jai Bolo Telangana is a 2011 Telugu historical drama film based on the Telangana Movement. It was directed by N.Shankar and the lead character was played by Sandeep Singh. The film has won five Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, including the Sarojini Devi Award for a Film on National Integration.Varshit is the son of a Telangana freedom fighter who gave up his life for the cause. But he is not interested in carrying forward the legacy. A trip to his grandparents' village changes his mind.
