Indra is a Telugu language action film directed by B. Gopal. It stars Chiranjeevi, Arti Agarwal and Sonali Bendre. Jyothika was offered the either of the female lead but couldn't accept due to her busy schedules in Tamil and her kannada debut opposite to Upendra. The film was released on 24 July 2002, opened to highly positive reviews from critics as well as from audience.This film gave Chiranjeevi a super hit after few flops and average grossers. This film recorded as top grossing south Indian film at the time of its release.
