Gopala Gopala is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language satirical drama film directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani. The film was jointly produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu and Sharrath Marar under the Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainment. banners. It features Daggubati Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan in the lead roles and Shriya Saran, Mithun Chakraborty and Posani Krishna Murali in key supporting roles. Gopal Rao, a middle-class man who runs a store selling God's idols, is an atheist whose life turns topsy-turvy when an earthquake destroys his store. Soon, he shocks everyone by filing a lawsuit against God to get the compensation from an insurance firm. Victory Venkatesh is apt in his role of an atheist, and carries off a mature character quite convincingly. The way he has performed in all the courtroom scenes is quite good. He brings in a lot of simplicity to the film, and all his scenes with Pawan Kalyan have been designed exceptionally well.
