"Fan is a 2016 Indian action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and tells the story of an obsessive fan of a star who looks just like the star. The soundtrack album and original score are composed by Vishal–Shekhar and Andrea Guerra respectively.The film was released on 15 April 2016. Made on a budget of ₹850 million, the film collected ₹792.5 million in India and ₹613.5 million from overseas territories.Fan was scheduled to release in early 2015, but owing to the injuries sustained by Khan during the filming of Happy New Year, the film's release date was postponed to 14 August 2015. The post-production work involving complex visual effects pushed the release of Fan once again to early 2016.
