En Annan, is a 1970 Indian Tamil thriller film directed by Pa.Neelakandhan, starring M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role and J. Jayalalitha, M. N. Nambiar, S. A. Ashokan, Cho Ramaswamy among others. In the year 1970, it was one of the super hit movie of MGR and ran 100 days in Chennai, Madurai and Trichy.The film is a remake of Telugu movie Poola Rangadu (24 November 1967) which was directed by Adurthi Subba Rao, with A.N.R. and Jamuna.The 2 movies that are loosely based on A. J. Cronin's novel, Beyond This Place.
