Edi Nijam is a 1956 Telugu film directed by Vainik and film personality Sundaram Balachander and produced by Ghantasala Krishnamurthy of Pratibha Films.The films starring Nagabhushanam of Rakta Kanneeru fame. The story is loosely based on the Italian film Puzitor. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Edhu Nijam .In order to take revenge, a village chieftain, Munasabu, murders the poor Tirupati and blames his friend Kondaiah, a labourer, for the crime.main actors are Starring Nagabhushanam ,Showkar Janaki , Gummadi, RamanaReddy, Vangara.
