Dr. Kotnis ki Amar Kahani (Hindi: डॉक्टर कोटनिस की अमर कहानी; English: The eternal tale of Dr. Kotnis) is a 1946 Indian film made in Hindi as well as English and directed by V. Shantaram. The English version was titled The Journey of Dr. Kotnis.[1] Both versions starred V. Shantaram in the title role of Dr. Kotnis. The film is based on the life of Dwarkanath Kotnis, an Indian doctor who worked in China during the Japanese invasion in World War II.
