Devathai is a 1997 Tamil fantasy film written, directed and produced by Nassar. The film stars himself, Keerthi Reddy and Vineeth in the lead roles, while the film's score and soundtrack are composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
Thayamma works hard to educate her brother Kalimuthu. Although in love with Tulsi, she sacrifices her love for his family and also helps her brother marry Deivana, a rich girl.
