Chennai Koottam is the story of a group of friends studying in an Engineering college in Chennai.Chennai Koottam is a comedy entertainer, revolving around five friends who start an event management company in Chennai. The film follows them as they try to sell a bungalow situated on the Kerala - Tamil Nadu border which leads them into various troubles. They used to take loans from others for their personal needs. It is two girls who are part of the gang who always stand surety. This later gives rise to several issues. ‘Chennai Koottam’ is written and directed by debutant Lohith Madhav. Sreejith Vijay, Sinil Sainudheen, Raja, Archana, Lima, Che Tamil, and Gayatri do the main roles. ‘Chennai Koottam’ is produced by Anil Kollam, and Muhammed Kanjangad under the banner of Babbly Productions.
