Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Savitri in the lead roles and music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao.The film was simultaneously made as Tamil movie Prema Pasam, starring Gemini Ganesan, Savitri in pivotal roles.The film recorded as Super Hit at the box office.[citation needed] The film has received the Filmfare Award for Best Film - Telugu.
