Annan Thangachi is a 1999 Tamil drama film directed by Charan Raj. The film features Charan Raj, Shruthi and Vikram Krishna in lead roles, with Janagaraj, Vadivukkarasi, Pandu and Thalaivasal Vijay playing supporting roles. The film, produced by C. Kalpana and C. Devendraraj, had musical score by Deva and was released on 7 May 1999. The film was a remake of Kannada film Thavarina Thottilu, Charan Raj and Shruthi reprised their respective roles from the original.Chinna Rasu (Charan Raj) is a rich landlord, who treasures his lovely little sister Sarasu (Shruthi). They both lived together with their family friend Azhagu (Pandu). In his village, Chinna Rasu is one of the wealthy man and he looks for the prefect groom for his sister.
