"Andhrawala (Telugu: ఆంధ్రావాలా, English: Andhrite) is a 2004 Telugu action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and has Jr NTR playing the main role. Rakshitha, Sayaji Shinde, and Rahul Dev play important roles. Music was composed by Chakri while cinematography was handled by Shyam K. Naidu.Jyothika was selected as lead heroine but opted out due to buzy schedules. The film created a lot of hype as Jr. NTR was acting in this film just after the blockbuster Simhadri. However, it became a disaster. This film was simultaneously made in Kannada as Veera Kannadiga with Puneeth Rajkumar, directed by Meher Ramesh; the Kannada version was a huge hit. . The film has been dubbed in Tamil as Velaa and in Hindi as Barood:Man On Mission.
