Adiverukal is a 1986 Indian malayalam film, produced by Mohanlal and Kochumon and directed by P. Anil, who later became famous as Douthyam Anil. The film stars Mohanlal, Sukumari, Karthika and Jagathi Sreekumar in lead roles. The film had musical score and songs composed by shyam. Balakrishnan, a young man, is fond of the elephant he pets. He is devastated when his mother sells the elephant to secure a job for him.
