Vijay Adhiraj is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil films and serials. He rose to fame starring in television serials, while he also participated in the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1. He made his debut as director with Puthagam (2013),which starred Sathya, Jagapati Babu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Vijay Adhiraj noted that he had written the script in 1998 but was advised by his peers, including Crazy Mohan, to wait before launching the production.
