Vamshi Paidipally was born to a Telugu Velama Community family in Nirmal district, Telangana, India. Since his childhood he has been fascinated by films. His father had a theatre in his district so he grew up in the atmosphere of theatre. He did his schooling in Hyderabad Public School, and his (10+2) from Little Flower junior college.He then completed Bachelor's in commerce and a Master's in Computer Applications(MCA) From Badruka Educational society. He quit his software job and got into films as an assistant director for the film Eeswar (2002) and worked as an associate director for Varsham, Mass and Bhadra and had his debut as a Director with Munna starring Prabhas in 2007
