Tini Tom started his career as a mimicry artist and has worked with famous troupes such as Seven Arts, Cochin Guinness and Kalabhavan which saw him going places. He also done a TV comedy program called Tom & Jerry with Guinness Pakru, which became a success. This program is one of the programs which helped both of them to get chances in cinemas. Tini Tom made his big-screen debut with Panchapandavar (1998) but it was through the Mammootty-starrer Pattalam that he gained some notice.
