sangeetha is an Indian film actress, model and female playback singer. She is known as Rasika in Malayalam movie industry. Making her acting debut in the mid-1990s, she is probably best known for her performances in the films Khadgam, Pithamagan, Uyir and Dhanam.Sangeetha was born in Chennai, India, to Arvind and Bhanumathy. Sangeetha is a Bharatanatyam dancer as she had learned Bharatanatyam during her school days.[4] Career[edit]. She started her acting career in the late 1990s, beginning in an unreleased film opposite Venkat Prabhu titled Poonjolai and she performed primarily in low-budget films until her role in Telugu movie Khadgam, alongside Ravi Teja in 2002. Later she acted with Vikram, Surya Sivakumar and Laila in the National Award winning Pithamagan.
