Saiju Kurup is an Indian actor who works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. He debuted in the critically acclaimed movie Mayookham by Hariharan. He has starred in several films as the main lead, villain, supporting artiste and done guest appearances in several more. Saiju Kurup has done his primary schooling in SJC, Kamptee, higher schooling from SFS High School, Nagpur and graduation from SRCOEM, Nagpur. He worked at Birla Sunlife and Airtel after completing his education. While Kurup was working with Airtel, he was offered the role of lead actor in Malayalam movie Mayookham. He got married to Anupama on 12 January 2005, has a daughter named Mayookha born in November, 2005 and a son Aftab born in January, 2015. He has consistent fan following, which is easily visible in online portals and social networking sites, where he interacts with his fans. His performances in movies like Trivandram Lodge, Mayookham, Aadu Oru Bheegarajeeviyaanu won him many fans.
