Rohini was born in Anakapalli. She started her career in 1976 as child actress as a child actress in the film Yashoda Krishna, a tollywood film. She spent her childhood in the city of Chennai capital of Tamilnadu. She is an indian actress, lyricst, screenwriter, director and voice actor. She has given her voice for the actress like Jyothika, Aishwarya Rai, Manisha Koirala and Amla. She also writes the episodes for many tamil TV serials. She is married to the famous actor Raghuvaran in the year of 1996. The marriage went for divorce in the year of 2006. They hava a son named Rishi Varan. Apart from the acting and part of the film Industry, she is an activist for AIDS awareness. She also has directed 50 minute documentary Silent Hues about the film industry's child artists.
