R. Narayana Murthy born on 31 December 1954 is an Indian film actor, director, composer, singer and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu Cinema. He owns a film production company called Sneha Chitra Pictures. He is known for left-oriented films that expose the exploitation of society's lower strata. He was starred in hits like Ardharatri Swaatantryam, Adavi Diviteelu, Laal Salaam, Dandora, Erra Sainyam, Cheemala Dandu, Dalam, Cheekati Suryulu, Ooru Manadiraa and Vegu Chukkalu.He was not married.
