Niveda Thomas is an actress and model who has acted in various Malayalam,Tamil and Telugu movies. She started her career as a child actress with Uthara and also she acted in Sun TV serial My Dear Bootham (one of the most popular children's serial). After that, she got the role to act as Jayaram's daughter in Veruthe Oru Bharya, where her performance was well appreciated. She then signed a few Tamil and Malayalam films in which she mostly placed supporting roles. Among her Malayalam projects were Chaappa Kurish and Thattathin Marayathu, which according to Sify was "one of the biggest box-office hit in the history of Malayalam cinema".
