Lijo Jose Pellissery is an Indian film director best known for his Malayalam films. He made his debut with the crime film Nayakan , following it up with City of God and Amen , the latter being a big commercial success at the box-office. His fourth and latest movie was Double Barrel, released in August 2015. Lijo, born in Chalakudy in Thrissur district, is the son of late theatre-movie actor Jose Pellissery. He did his schooling from Carmel High School, Chalakudy & Pre-University from The Union Christian College, Aluva . He holds a Bachelor's Degree in marketing HR and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from IIPM, Bangalore.
