Karthika Adaikalam better known mononymously as Karthika, is a Tamil film actress, who has appeared in Tamil films. She is probably best known for her performances in Thoothukudi and Raman Thediya Seethai. Her popular films are Thoothukudi, Pirappu, Raman Thediya Seethai, Vaidegi,etc.She has appeared in some well known films such Raman Thediya Seethai and Madurai Sambavam. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in "Thoothukudi" which was one of the Best films of the year 2006. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Karthika in "Raman Thediya Seethai" in Cheran, Pasupathy, Vimala Raman and Remya Nambeeshan.
