C. H. Narayana Rao  was an Indian film actor, producer and thespian known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema, and Theater. He was starred in more than fifty films in a variety of roles. His notable works include, calssics such as Mana Desam, Mugguru Marathilu, Lakshmamma, Veelunama, Rahasyam, Chenchu Lakshmi, Jeevitham to name a few.
