Ali Abbas Zafar is an Indian film director and screenwriter. He achieved moderate success for his first two films, the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and the action drama Gunday (2014). He then went on to receive widespread recognition for the sports drama Sultan (2016), which ranks among the highest-grossing Indian films.
