Akashaditya lama Born in Ranchi, Bihar (now in Jharkhand) and brought up in Kolkata (West Bengal) Bhilai (Chhattisgarh) Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) and Faridkot (Punjab). Lama got his diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1996–97. He got his first break in the business of films and television in 1998 by assisting in Ad films Pillsbury Wheat Flour, Camelin and more. He has been an assistant director, screenplay writer, dialogue writer, theatre artist, playwright, script writer and now has directed his first feature film, Cigarette Ki Tarah, starring actors Prashant Narayanan and Yuvika Chaudhar
